Women in business – playing to our strengths

Inspiring ideas from world-class speaker Kiki Maurey

Kiki believes in women as an economic force. She’s especially gifted at supporting women in their careers and in business, and is an accomplished management consultant, professional and executive coach-mentor.

She’s also an inspiring speaker, described by Warwick Business School as a ‘world-class speaker’ and by Barclays as ‘one of the best keynote speakers and facilitators in the country’.

“Not everyone has a compelling story to tell or an engaging style that can captivate audiences … Kiki does just that.”

We’re really privileged this month to be able to meet Kiki, so do join us at the CLBC to hear her thoughts on the huge power of persuasion – of the right kind (not the bedroom kind!). Kiki will share with us the success factors that are critical in building our businesses.

Please note: the CLBC doesn’t meet in August.

The Formula 1 theory
Sheryl Andrews on pace and pit stops

There can be little doubt that ours is a demanding world, where many of us rush through life as if we’re competing in a Formula 1 race.

Sheryl will talk about the importance of pacing ourselves, having regular pit stops and listening – to the experts, ourselves and those around us. In particular, she will uncover how the “Formula 1” theory affects our business relationships. She’ll take a look at the challenges for us, for example, in understanding our clients or when handing over responsibility.

Join us at the CLBC to meet Sheryl, who is an experienced and engaging speaker, and hear why we should stop for a while – not just for ourselves but also for the benefit of the next generation.
